Minnesota Golf Course Reviews
Cragun's Legacy Courses - Bobby's Legacy
Cragun's Legacy Bobby Course Absolute Northwoods Beauty!! It is just a little over 2 hours from the Twin Cities, MN but feels far away from the hustle and bustle of the Cities. Upon arrival the very friendly staff directed me to the driving range, putting green and off to the first tee. The Bobby's course is a thinking course. It doesn't allow for bombs away on every hole, but encourages the use of multiple clubs off the tee. The fairways were in perfect shape and the greens were some of the best I've seen, especially at this point of the year. Winding through the Northwoods and around the lake offered great variety and natural beauty. It is a must play for any Minnesotan.
Wild Marsh Golf Course
Great course, great price. One of the best values around.
Excellent conditions. Near perfect fairways with true and very fast, undulating greens. Probably the best conditioned public course I've played. I've got 6-7 rounds on it and it's been perfect every time.
Pace of play is perfect. Not much waiting at all.
Really fun course. Pretty wide open with water in play on several holes. Really quick greens. Wind WILL be a factor. Several very large bunkers with really soft sand. The wind was steady at 20mph with gusts up to 40mph. It was literally blowing balls around the green and affecting putts.
Course was in immaculate condition. Aside from the wind it was a blast to play.
Blackberry Ridge Golf Club
Course was fun and played very fair. My son is a member and he is very familiar with course conditions having been on a greens keeping crew in Ponte Vedra Beach at a private course next to the Stadium course in Sawgrass called Plantation. We love fast greens and the scenic conditons. Lots of doglegs and different looks from the various tee boxes.
