Golf Course Information
Incorporated in 1915, Woodhill Country Club is a private family club located in the western suburbs of the Twin Cities. Members of all generations enjoy the many activities the club offers including golf, tennis, paddle tennis, swimming and ice skating. In addition to outdoor activities, members gather for family meals, a Sunday brunch, a special holiday event or an evening with good friends.
The golf course, a traditional Donald Ross design completed in 1917, was host to the Trans-Mississippi Tournament, won by Jack Nicklaus in 1957. The golfing membership annually supports the Evans Scholarship Program. Paul Kelley, Head Golf Professional, is in his second year at Woodhill.
The tennis facility, consisting of ten clay courts situated on the hill, boasts an active family tennis program headed by Mike Ach and his staff. Over the years it has been host to several Junior Sectional Tournaments.
