Description
Giants Ridge has long been considered one of Minnesota's best golf destinations. Year after year, national golf publications have ranked the Legend and Quarry near or at the top of destinations in the world. Just this year, Golf Digest ranked the Quarry the #1 public course in the state and #4 overall. The Legend ranked as the #4 public course in the state and #14 overall. Few other golf facilities in the nation can claim more than one course in Golf Digest's "Top 100" list. And no other Minnesota resort offers two highly ranked courses of this caliber.
The Quarry was built on the site of an old sand/gravel and iron ore mining operation, and is now the #1 public golf course in Minnesota, according to Golf Digest. Since its opening, it has been ranked in the top 20 public courses in the United States every year it has been eligible. It is truly a unique experience for Minnesota golfers, and one that compliments the traditional feel of The Legend course.

Lodging Options
The Lodge at Giants Ridge is the perfect property for guests who want to be close to the action! Located at the bottom of the alpine mountain and just steps away from The Legend golf course, guests of The Lodge are within walking distance of both winter and summer fun. The Lodge consists of hotel-style condo units ranging from 1-4 bedrooms, which can easily accommodate larger families or groups. Each condo features a kitchenette, which allows simple meal preparation, as well as separate living room spaces. Additional amenities include an indoor pool and hot tub, a restaurant and lounge, arcade, and a full service salon and spa. In addition, The Lodge offers express check-in and has a limited number of pet-friendly rooms. Please note that pet friendly rooms must be reserved in advance by contacting the front desk directly.
